Are There Alarms In Heaven
I am a teacher of student's with autism and at times (when the autism population at my school is low) LLD students (students with limited language, brain injuries, Down's Syndrome) at the local middle school. I am 20 years in the field with real life students with real life challenges. If anything take a piece of my experience and bring into your community the mentality that all people have a place. This book will grow as I continue to work. I will post new stories and interventions as I work and recall some of the past.
Chapter 1 posted is a newer story but will stand as chapter 1.
If you are a parent you may gain some understanding and some knowledge that may help you better the life of your child/adult with Autism. If you are a teacher you can gain some more tools for your toolbox. If you just like to learn then you can gain a new understanding of people with Autism and some of their challenges.
